Author Talk: Chris Barton

Local author Chris Barton is coming to Lioness Books on August 14th to speak about his book, Glitter Everywhere! and his experience with censorship. In January of this year, Barton was supposed to speak to 1,600 students at Cambridge and Woodbridge elementary schools in Alamo Heights ISD, but officials cancelled his visit due to parent complaints concerning gender identity, sexual orientation, and the term LGBTQ+. Barton will also sign books—we will have copies available for sale during the event.
